T H E . G U I D E L I N E S
Before anything else, EVERYONE MUST read the guidelines!
=======================================================================
GENERAL RULES
=======================================================================
¤ Only horses and wolves are allowed.
¤ Maned wolves are NOT allowed, because they aren't actually wolves.
¤ Respect the staff and other members.
¤ OOC [out of character] fights will not be tolerated.
¤ Swearing is only allowed when posting in character.
¤ You must read the rules! There is a hidden password you will need to find in order to introduce your character.
¤ Reading all announcements from the staff is required, for they may be very important.
¤ Signature images, as well as any other images posted on the site, must have a width no greater than 600 pixels.
¤ After creating a thread for your character in the Introduction board, you MUST wait to be accepted by a staffmember before beginning.
¤ There is only ONE character allowed per account. [Yes, this means that you will need to make seperate accounts for your characters. We're sorry if this causes any problems, but it is best for the site's organization. If you have many characters, we recommend stating what other characters you play in your signature. Foals/pups may stay on the same account as their mothers until they turn 1 year old.]
¤ You may have as many characters/accounts as you wish.
¤ The first pair of letters of the password is lu.
¤ You must not be gone from the site for over a month, unless you have stated that you will be away. [Activity checks are held each month. Any account that has not been posted with in a month will be deleted. This means that you must post with all of your accounts.]
¤ Posting in character for each of your characters atleast once a week is required if you want your characters to keep their positions!
¤ Each in character post MUST contain 10 sentences or more. [If you are a beginner, don't worry. You will not be punished, but we recommend enrolling in our Role Play Academy.]
¤ Strength points are accumulated when you post. The more you have, the stronger your character is.
¤ Wisdom points are awarded from staffmembers for things you can do out of character. These include helping another member, winning a contest, or simply being friendly to others. Wisdom points contribute to the wisdom and intelligence of your characters.
¤ One real life month is equal to one season in Empire.
¤ All characters age in the summer.

STALLION & MALE WOLF RULES
=======================================================================
¤ You may challenge for lands, herds/packs, females, and foals/pups. Foals/pups come with the females.
¤ When claiming a land, you must wait for the Royal of your alliance to accept you. [Númenor, Ameer, or Anubis.]
¤ The second pair of letters in the password is lm.
¤ You may not claim mares if you are not the lead of a territory.
¤ Stallions may only claim a maximum of two mares at a time in the claiming grounds.
¤ Colts become stallions when they turn three years old.
¤ Stallions may begin breeding at age three.

MARE & FEMALE WOLF RULES
=======================================================================
¤ You may challenge for positions and foals/pups.
¤ The lead stallion/male of your herd must appoint you as lead mare/female for you to recieve the position.
¤ The third pair of letters in the password is ka.
¤ Fillies become mares when they turn three years old.
¤ Mares may begin breeding at age three.
¤ When being fought for, you have no say.
¤ If you want to leave your herd/pack, you must get permission from the lead stallion/alpha wolf.

CHALLENGE RULES
=======================================================================
¤ All fights are played out in the Ohtar Battle Grounds.
¤ Stallions and male wolves can challenge for lands, herds/packs, females, and foals/pups.
¤ Mares and female wolves can challenge for positions and foals/pups.
¤ Challenging the Kings and Queens is allowed.
¤ Challenging the Gods is not allowed.
¤ Each fighter is allowed to have 5 hits and 2 dodges.
¤ No powerplaying!
¤ No one can die [unless the member accepts.]
¤ The last pair of letters in the password is ho.
¤ When challenging someone, if they do not reply to your post in one week, you automatically win. [Unless the member is away.]
¤ The administrators decide who wins. Both strength and wisdom points play a small roll, but the fight is mostly judged by the skill of the roleplayers.
¤ If someone wins a position, anyone else wishing to challenge for it must wait a week. [For example, someone has just won the position of Light King. One week later, he is able to be challenged, but no sooner.]
¤ A character may only challenge another character for the same position twice. [This is if your character looses the battle the first time.]

BREEDING RULES
=======================================================================
¤ Long breeding is allowed.
¤ Graphic breeding is allowed, but we ask that you include a warning in your post.
¤ Breeding can occur in any land, but if you want a foal, you must breed at Halo Hill.
¤ Breeding may only take place during summer and winter. Birthing may only take place during spring and autumn.
¤ It is possible for a mare to have twins. However, it is very rare. Please do not beg the admins to give you twins.
¤ Your character may only breed if it is three years of age or older.
¤ Pregnancies last one real month. [For example, if you breed in spring, you will birth in summer.]
¤ All birthing occurs in Silent Peaks.
¤ When creating your birthing thread, you must include the stats of the mother and father. [Breed, color, and height.]
¤ The admins will post the stats of your foal in your birthing thread.
